The ASICS Gel nimbus just felt too squishy without the support. My go to is the Hoka Clifton. Iโ€™ve had both the 7 and currently the 8. Definitely felt the 8s better. FIT Matt: The HOKA Bondi 8 fits me true to size in my normal men's size 10. The fit throughout the length of the shoe is on the snug side, especially in the forefoot. Initially, my toes felt slightly smashed, but over a few miles the upper broke in to provide more of a snug fit.

The Hoka Cavu was discontinued and is one of my favorite Hoka models. It was a very unHoka, Hoka. It was lightweight and minimal, and if youโ€™re someone who wants that faster-paced shoe (like the Saucony Kinvara , New Balance 1400, or even Atreyu Base Model) , it was the one.
Both the Hoka Bondi 8 and Gaviota 5 exhibit versatile performance, but in different ways. The Bondi 8 excels on both pavement and trails, providing a smooth and shock-absorbing experience. On the other hand, the Gaviota 5โ€™s stability features make it well-suited for tackling uneven terrains and rugged paths.
