4. Repeat for the other side. 5. Pull out the lock assembly. It may come out whole or in two parts, mine came in two parts, the lock first and then the plastic barrel with a small spring. The issue with mine is the back of the key barrel popping out of the plastic barrel which in turn locks into the mechanism which opens the bonnet.
as for safety then flashing airbag light is normally the worst ( see wiki for the list of flash codes ) & the most common problems seem to be as follows. front crash sensor ( often confused with the wiring for the bonnet catch & shorted out - but the rest of the time its corrosion on the sensor connection pins leading to breaking or bad contact )

Hey, Opened my door and got in then pulled door closed and it just bounced back open, the catch wouldn't come down, after a bit of manipulation it came down and the door is now closed however it will now not open from the inside although it will open from the inside.
